its the same with any performance engine, u jus have to look hard
got insured on a gti6 (group 15/16) at 19 with 1yr no claims £1200...norwich union said i had to be 25!
if u want insurance its there for the taking, however i jus dont think u shud.
get at least 1yr no claims bonus befor u start thinking glanza/gt

I agree with what everyone else has to say ! Im 19 with 1yrs NCB and have just insured my new GT. I wanted a Glanza but the insurance was stupid for my age (cheapest was £1950 Third party with no mods!)! I've ended up paying £1250 Fully comp, all mods listed with Admiral for a 94 GT. Defo look into it before you fork out! Good Luck!

u wont get insured on a glanza full stop if your 17. its hard enough to actually find a insurance company that covers the glanzas, and the ones that do say you HAVE to be 21.. so good luck for the glanza.. but gt's are insurable and are generally around 1400-1800 quid to insure for that age.. but i wouldnt really advise it as a first car!

No way mate i was insured on my gt at 20 for 900 fully comp had a 106 gti at 18 fully comp at 980.

They only come up as group 6!
And yeah bex's quote is real i looked at earlier.
Cheap quotes are out their you just have to look around and play companies off each other.

Sorry forgot to mention the glanza bit a guy i know is 18 and insured on a glanza as his first car only paying 1300ish with.
