I'm just wondering how to pass nct with a 5e engine in my car

Hi I'm not sure how to nct my car if it got a tuned 5e how do I go about it if any one know plz tell me or do I have to put standard engine back in every time for nct

should be fine but the emissions are the same as a 4e believe it or not.. jut put the standard turbo and cat in and she should be sweet if the mapper was any good she should fuel like stock on idle

Would I have to declare car as 1.5 for nct tho

well for insurance yes. not for nct as far as im aware

Mine passed no bother 2day without a cat, but mine's a 1990 i think your allowed higher emissions! Like madman said if tuned right it should pass. As for tax dont pay it,, f**king pothole put a lovely dent in my alloy last week ....

The 1.5 and 1.3 are in the same tax bracket so it doesn't make no difference over here anyway
