why cant it be registered? surely any car can be registered mate its only a starlet not a ufo

i mate its pissing me off, the whole idea in the end is to have a super kool glanza v 4wd turbo time convertion. specially since trevor has done 3 ep85 and so is the other, i wanted get a 4wd glanza. it will be kool though.
my only option now is, when it reaches port in england is to not register it. but bring it to the warehouse and strip it, and make the convertion on to the glanza.
hoping it will be reay by january, as i wish to take my time making the best example and fully document it.

Yup, ideal track-only project I'd suggest. Unless anyone's got a model report (Mark? Trevor?) it might be difficult to legally put on the road.
From looking at the EP82 v EP85 differences up on the ramp at Trevors there's a few big issues in the way. The boot floor is totally different and the centre tunnel is much wider on the EP85. Might be possible with 'scary' modification but you will need to see it.

i man it would be mean, but i want it to be used on the road also. i did say when i joint the site that i had big plans, and this is just one of the steps.
has anyone ever inported the carat model starlet??
does anyone know what i should do, thinking of calling DVLA. but they dont really know anything about jap, and it becomes so much more difficult for them to understand when u go in to detail. so all hopes lost there
