inner tie rod's.

Me neither, but looking at a service manual, there is a folded over claw washer that holds the inner tie rod onto the rack, then they screw out. Its a rack out of the car job but, so might be easier to get a good 2nd hand rack, they usually dont get took very often so could be cheap.

Just put a big plier on it, with a good grip. Make sure the rubber booth is out of the way, and prepare for sweating upside down. But it's do-able. I've replaced both of the track rods with the steering knuckles that connect to the hub, Just remember to put the steering knuckle on the same revolutions, otherwise tracking could be out massivly. If in doubt, get a tape messure and check both the old and the new tie rods.

got them of yesterday, a 30 spanner done the job.but beforehand in order to release the nut i had to tip back the metal claw on two sides, a long flat headed screwdriver done the trick.some pics wud of bein the proper job really.shane.
