insurance for a 17 year old!!!!!

just so u know, if uve got ure mum down as main driver, and really u drive it the most and its ures, thats insurance fronting/fraud (i forget the name)

but basically its illegal, and is ill advice really, and u can get done for it

How would they be able to get you done for that?

I'm not taking the piss, but its been mentioned before and just wondered if you had any idea how it works?

For instance ... Say I'm insured as a second driver, I don't drive the car for 6 monthes, then I get in it for the first time and prang it. Do you think an insurer is likely to accuse me of being the main driver? Just don't see how it can be proven either way.

It doesnt have to be proven, if they have 'reasonable doubt' about the claim then they simply will reject it
