Hey guyz

I want to buy a new intercooler. But i dont know what dimension will be the best. Now i have a fmic with the following dimensions 72cmX23cmX7cm overall dimension with 60mm inlets.

My new set up is with 2876 turbo, custom intake manifold with 4agze butterfly 60mm 42mm external and big tubular exhaust manifold. Internals are 74.5 with ligthen cranksaft 282-276 camsafts, adjustable cam pulley, os zigen twin clutch

I am thinking to buy an fmic with the following dimensions

71cmX30cmX7.6cm overall dimension with 76mm inlets. This will be very big for my engine?

Also what dimension in the intercooler pipes should i make?

regards

Depending on the quality of the core, your current intercooler actually sounds just fine.

There is benefit to be had from running very large intercooler piping, but you're unlikely to notice it until you're upwards of 600hp. 60mm or 2.5 inch is enough to flow a LOT of power and isn't going to be a restriction. The practicalities of running such large pipes are also a concern.

Have you got a brand name or a photo of your existing intercooler?
