LOL, get drunk enough you wont need tents, sleep where you fall.

http://www.rwyb.co.uk/dates.php

Thats the dates of the events, Rotorstock might be good as there may be less cars at it plus there is a RWYB day on the Sunday.

Would need to go on Friday and come home Sunday night, or Monday for the singletons lol.

I had a quick look at ferry prices, travelling from Dublin port to Holyhead on the fast ferry with Stenna for a car and 1 passenger......

Outbound, Thursday 5th at 08.20, arrives at 11.35, cost £96.

Return, Monday 9th at 13.50, arrives 17.05, cost £96.

Thats for the Ultimate street car show, a weekend pass paid in advance is £55, that includes camping and parking fees BUT and its a big but, drag fees are £20 for 4 runs, each day!!!!!!! Here is a link to the site http://www.ultimatestreetcar.co.uk/

There is also Rotorstock on, it has a Jap only car RWYB on Saturday and the HKS drag series is on the Sunday, a weekend pass is £20 to include camping and there is a sprint track, trade stands, displays and mobile dyno as well. Unlimited drag runs for £25 (more fucking like it!) Here is the link to the site for it http://www.rotorstock7.co.uk/index.html

Ferry prices are (on the same route)

Outbound Friday 20th at 08.20, arrive at 11.35, cost £106

Return, Monday 23rd at 13.50, arrives at 17.05, cost £96.

Put your thoughts down about these suggestions below please.

I never got on a ferry with a car before (bar the carrier that brings you over to Jay's island) what is it like getting a well lowered car onto the ferry? Bodykits ripped off I suppose?

Doubt it would be the 1st lowered car with a kit on it going onto the ferry, I would think if you dont go mad on the ramp it would be ok.

agreed, i took mine to JAE twice, so long as u take it nice and easy on the ramps and use the hand brake u should be ok.

The lads on DTDIRL are thinking Rotorstock at the end of August would be better, I would agree with them oin that.

So shall we start a list of travellers?

90% sure I'm pulling out of this, I'll be going to England in the first half of August with the car for something else (if I can iron out the bugs!)

I saw the words towcar and trailer mentioned.I have both if anyone wants or needs transported.

Great offer Trev but it looks like most people have shit their pants when they seen the ferry prices lol.

If you want to go you could sit in with me, finish your back off in one day with my suspension!!!

I'll only be running my car once in August, if I go to the first one I'll prob still head over to the second one but not race, I'd prefare to hope in with someone and share the costs to be honest.

Intrest seems to have died on DTDirl as well, but I will start a list for going to Rotorstock the 1st weekend in August and see who wants to go.
