As already mentioned - loose the intercooler clips and the car will run just like an N/A starlet.
Personally, I would've just drop an actuator - so easy to do and they would've never guessed why the car runs like a bag of spanners.
I hate giving my car to somebody else to drive, only to VERY trusted people, like my car mechanic for example! I feel like somebody is sleeping with my GF when I see someone else driving my car...

Removing a boost pipe will destroy the turbo pretty quickly if the thing is boosted hard, similarly it's not a good idea to boost the engine with the MAP sensor disconnected.
Removing the TPS connector and stuffing a paper clip in there to get a 2000rpm rev limit is probably the quickest, easiest and safest way of restricting the engine.
