To have both a BOV and and External Wate gate running together in one setup?

i really have no idea but i think my car does, it has a Blitz BOV but the dump sounds nothing like a normal BOV

a normal bov = PTshhhhhhhh (similar to a bus) lol
mine = Ptshhhhh tshhhh tshhh tshh tsh

lol, i thot that but when the car dumps there is a constant jet of air comes out of it, thats what confused me how can it make that noise if the release is one single jet?

yeah, it made no differnece at all

dont get me wrong i love the noise it makes, its very Unique and it stands out amoung the other Glanzas around here :)

i was just confused as to how it actually made the noise, it was a mechanic that first mentioned the external wategate

the external wg & bov are 2 completely different items, one vents off excess charged air in ur system after the tb is closed, the other vents off excess exhaust gasses to control boost pressure... so u see their not even in the same place or on the same side...

in a nutshell, yes u can use both.. & no they dont affect each other..

answer is YES
its the same as having a BOV and an internal actuator----its just the internal actuator is replaced with an external wastegate in this scenario
