Well, got the new shiny screeen in...

And then I noticed that the trim around the bottom of the windscreen, wasn't sitting flush with the glass anymore...

Then, beleive it or beleive it not, I spotted some DIRT and MILDSTEEL BOLTS! :O

So this is how the car currently is...

And over the next few evenings, I plan to degrease, polish and rust proof all the of the steel work. Paint the wiper linkages and replace all of the fastenings, wiper pivot bolts, bonnet hinge bolts with stainless and then finally repaint the wiper arms.

Nooo.

There was some glass that'd fallen under the trim from the screen break, so wanted to clean it out, but whilst there, figured that I should rustproof it and change all the bolts for stainless ones :)

They're 316 I think.

And I think I'm on the verge, yeah :p

I have a box of standard bolts, which I've removed for stainless ones, and it must be 2kg in weight!

Maybe 300?
