JAM FCD - Problem

Hi all,

I put a JAM Racing FCD in the car awhile ago, and yes it has removed fuel cut. I've had no problems with it since installing it untill yesterday.

Just recently, well yesterday, giving the car some in 3rd, it sounded as though the engine was running faster than the car (if that sounds right) it just wasn't pulling right.

So I stopped, adjusted the screw anti-clockwise untill it was at the end, got back in and put my foot down again, there was no power at all, really sluggish. Stopped again, turned the screw nearly 2 full revolutions, got back in and set off, was fine untill I hit 4th and it did the same again.

Is it just a matter of adjusting the screw untill it pulls/feels right??

Running at 0.7 bar HKS actuator set to 0.6, MBC to move it to 0.7.

Any help, would be excellent, before Trax lol.

the mistake you made now was fiddling with the screw, u need to set it up how its was originally, before you played around with it.

HMMM i just been looking at the jam website and from wot i can make out the fcd dont need to ever be adjusted, and if it does need to be adjusted then only a pro with a rolling road should do it apparently.

clutch slipping maybe??

i would set back the JAM fcd to where it was and leave it alone if i were u---unless u know a professional who knows how to use it properly

Clutch seems fine mate, as it will pull fine in other gears, but I'm sure there was a post on the old forums are adjustable JAM fcd's someone was talking about the white screw.
I'll see if I can set it back to where it was.... :(

i could be wrong.....but my intuition tells me that screw adjusts the clamping force where fuel cut will be realised......
