I cant bleive they let you guys run with no hatch. I saw pics of a get a while back and it had lexan duct taped into the window
Top effort for both cars. I think thats gotta be quickest fwd starlet in the world. Any more infor on the car? Gearbox?

jamaican ppl kinda crazy. very impatient and very miserable. thats just how we are. unfortunate but true.
as for the gearbox i have heard many rumours. i belive it is stock but my mechanic that has the 11.2 blacktop 20v raced him the other day and he thinks that puffy is running a dogbox but u never know. he is only open about his engine, everything else is secret. the starlet wars here in ja are crazy. we all research for ourselves and develop our own tricks of the trade. there are dozens of 300 whp cars down here .... mine included, many 12second starlets and a coule 11 second starlets but only 1 10 second and his mouth is shut. btw that 10.9 is without nos.
we have right now aswel a 380whp glanza. that car cant get any tracktion hasnt run more than 12.0 yet

why would u need the hatch? it doesnt offer security. roll cage and a non recliner is good ebough for a fwd 10 second car

he only has 350 whp. thats pretty easy to get. what he has on his side is weight. his car is extremly light. if you want 350 whp go buy a gt28 and slap it on a 5e and turn up the boost. we like to run "tyre pressure "on our cars so 30 psi is the magic number or 2 bar. a port and poolish will go well as well but sometimes its not just about how much power u have. its how u make the power and how your car delivers it to th pavement. dragracing is very tricky.
u say u dont have much traction problems but trust me... when 300 ft lbs of torque quicks in not even a quaife diff and m/t slicks gonna help you.
give yourselves some credit. 350hp is definately no easy task. Also Ive seen a lot of you guys are pulling these numbers on stick internals (shaved 5e pistons). This is no easy task and you guys are definatly leading the way with hp figures. Ive already got a gt2876r strapped to a 5e. Only on 17psi with a small shot of gas running 300hp. Stock cams and headbolts are stopping the fun atm.
By not having traction problems I mean I run low 1.6 60fts consistently with no wheelie bars with Mt slicks and welded diff. Ran 11.2 @ 124mph mid last year. Just need some jamaican power to get me into the 10s. Any tips you can share would be greatly apprieciated.
If you dont wish to share, I completyly understand. You guys have worked hard to get where you are, publishing what you do would allow anyone to build an identical car without all the hard work.

yah man. we know how to do it with stock engines. i made 294 whp on an evo 3 turbo with a bone stock 5efhe, only shaved pistons. my mechanic made 365 with stock block
