Jap version of the corrola t sport

is there a jap version of the uk corrola? i'm talking 53 54 plate version.

only car i have ever thought about chopping my gt in for is the corrola t sport, fucking love it.

although my mate has just gone and got one, lol.

i do remember reading about a supercharged version, but is that a mod? or the jap 'gt'

the 1.8 supercharged one? think its called tsport compressor or somting. pretty much toyotas answer to the civic type r

The japanese version is called the runx aero tourer or allex z rs180 it has the 2zz engine

His one has been supercharged in japan by the previous owner i think they dont come out supercharged from japan they have the 2zzge and are the only corolla with that engine the celica ss2 and the will vs had those engines as well, they are available with the 6 speed manual transmission or the 4 speed sports steermatic buttons on the steering wheel. The 2zz models have 180 hp and there are GReddy turbo and supercharger kits available i hope that helps mate

The T sport compressor in the UK was a limited run of 250 before emissions laws killed off the market for it. Supercharged from the factory, about 215bhp I believe. I haven't seen that many for sale, but they go for a fair few quid over the standard T sport version as you'd expect Last one I spotted was about £9k

the compressors are well down in price,seen a few on pistonheads for around 8k now.always liked them and the t-sport,and ill end up with one at some stage.
