je pistons cold start noise

hi i buy my glanza v 3 mounth ago its nearly 200 hp and pistons JE make 74.5 mm forget pistons about 10.000 mile ago 1 year had rebuild engine..

cold start its noise is it normal? usualy cold start i leave engine 10 min to get hot and then drive it.. when hot engine not to much just littel noise..

i use costrol 10w 40 part sentetic oil...

sounds like you got abit of piston slapping during cold start. As the engine warms up the pistons expand(expands much more than stock pistons as the forgies are aluminium). The machine shop probably gave it more piston to wall clearance for this, hence the rattling when cold start.

do you think can break some thing when hard use? or it"S ok..

i do not like drive my car or motorbike cold first start!!!

It will be fine as long as you don't go crazy from cold.

Its not uncommon to get some piston slap sounds from cold start, as Adam says, drive steady until it warms up and all should be fine

defo piston slap, some forged pistions do this
