iv just had my mot done as it failed,
this is what it failed on ** offside outer front constant velocity joint gaiter insecurely mounted to its hoising,


whats the best thing to do buy a joint gaiter kit and replace the two ? help need asap thanks daN

yes constant velocity gaitor is a cv boot for short, as long as there are no tears in it, just clean the faces of the joint and the gaitor slip, it back on and probably best using a metal type clip as they are alot stronger than cable ties. have fun they can be a bitch!! oh and turn the wheel left and right and ,ake sure it doesnt slip back off
