just fitted my hks actuator, with no assistance from my mechanic, all went smooth. used the measurement guide for it, an did it for .8 bar took it for a drive an very noticiable. i have a fcd fitted an i didn hit fuel cut which im guessing is on the right setting. also have the fpr an fmic.

will be gettin it setup on the rollers very soon, any recomendations on which one too use? something fairly local too my post code, rh1.

cheers too vinniegt for the actuator aswell mate

always the sense of self satiscation when you done something yourself, fairplay to ya mate :)

going back to your orgininal post, there is a good jap tuner around basingstoke i believe which isnt too far from yourself in redhill, would be worth the drive to get a decent tuner to look at it, will try and find out the name of them, someone i know reccomended them!

if that fails triton motorsport in bournemouth are gona tune my glanza, they are subaru specialists but know alot about these aswell, might be worth giving them a call mate

be careful, having a fcd will stop boost cut all together, and will put the fueling out slightly as it is, dont use full throttle as much as possible and get it setup asap.

afr in crawley charge £65 for setup an dynoed that a good price?

that seems very good mate! tritton motorsport said they charge around £90 per hour to set these up and would take an hour or too, so thats a good price with dyno aswell

i take it that price was for dyno runs and setting up the fueling etc? was that just adjusting the fpr or have you got an apexi safc or something?

just for the fpr, i dont have any safc or anything mate. yea adjust the fueling so its good an a dyno also

ok mate awesome, i just called them now they said they will do mine too :) cheap aswell, was on the phone to him for a while, i mentioned getting a greedy emanage unit and he said not to bother as they have reliability issues, and to go for a proper standalone unit such as an apexi or something or hks....im gona be running td04 at 1 bar and he even said i should not use my apexi safc2 as it adjusts timing aswell and will make the ecu think its taking on a different load to what it actually is...interesting lol

sorry to hijack the thread mate :haha:
