This is all very interesting. I recently fitted my HKS actuator (.9 BAR), WEPR mani and Screamer De-cat, RRFPR (set at 2.8 BAR) and FCD and I have noticed a good power gain. I also ported my wastegate as have read many reports of overboost with these mods.

Boost does drop off at top end, I think may have ported wastegate a tad too much, but should be right amount if running 1 BAR Boost which is planned. Problem is, I am losing coolant quickly so may have a leak somewhere, and idle is hunting quite badly and I dont think the ECU has a clue what is going on...

Have been considering going to visit AFR for a while as they have a great reputation for Starlets..

My car is being tuned at Surrey Rolling road over near Thorpe park which isn't too far from you.

Also, the emanage blue's are more reliable than the ultimates. I wouldn't be put off from getting one, much cheaper than stand alone. I've got one being mapped in my Glanza as we speak :)

Thirdly, i think the stock actuators lose boost pressure at high revs so that's one advantage of the HKS one. I've also got one being fitted! Glad you have noticed some improvements cos i can't wait until mine is done
