Hey guys

Im from NZ im steve ,Got my 1st GT starlet a week ago and i need help to do it up! gonna be used as a run around. Sadly i got it and it was smoking so i got a new turbo whacked it in and the oil seals broke i think :( will sort it this weekend hopefully! off to the junkyard to find sum parts.

Good news guys! just finished the turbo change over easy pezzy :) well afta i bent the oil drain pipe i had 2 go bak wreckers and get another one lol but no smoke. Having a boost problem though! it feels a bit sluggish and my BOV isnt working now hmmmm pics will b up this weekend

If a dumpvslvr is stuck open then I think it will be over posting I think!.. Song hold me to that lol. Im not sure how to check it tbh but I'd check the lines cause if it was five before you replaced turbo it's got to be related to that area somewhere :)

I'd take it off and give a clean anyway :) other members here may have more experience with that problem.. What bov you running?

Welcome to the site...:)

To deal with the boost and sluggish problem firstly id reset the ecu...

and as for the bov usually its one of two things its either the spring or the vacum ...

yea well im going to try another blow off valve tomorow and if that doesnt work im gna clean evrything out! i gota go down to supercheap and get sum new vacuum hose mines a bit worn and i need sum for my boost gauge havnt tested the boost levels yet as i have just fixed the smoking problems! Thanks for all the help guys much apreciated

oh yea sorry guys havnt taken any pics yet wil do when i wash it up! its a bit ruff on the outside but has sum alrite custom interior home job! i want to get this boost problem fixed then il b washin and vacumming
