just got a load of smoke come through my center console......just about had enough

well was cracking on with the starlet been a while. It's been stood for about 3 months went to start it and battery was flat so connected it to a jump pack and was turning it over and the window wipers were going mental even though they were turned off also there were strange noises coming from the dial cluster??? after about 1o seconds of turning the car over aload of smoke shot out of the centre console (were the stero is). It was like a jet of smoke.

Any ideas whats gone on.

i really dont want to give up on this car but pretty pissed of at the moment

Did you have the booster pack terminals on the right way round? Check over some fuses in the engine bay to see if any are blown and try changing them.

Red to positive, will check fuses, There was a fair bit of smoke though.

just went back out, put pack on and starlet starte fine, as if nothing had happend, really worried obout the smoke though ???? any ideas anyone please
