Knocking noise

Hi guys, im not sure if this is the right section or not as i dont know where the knocking noise is coming from. But im getting a knocking noise whenever i accelerate, as soon as i lift off its goes away. any thoughts on what this might be?? thanks

Lower Engine Mount ? ..my old 172 did that it was lower eninge/gearbox mount might be worth haveing a look

is it a single clunk or continous when under accelaration? if its a single clunk then agreed its prob a mount, if continous then maybe a drive shaft

thanks for the replys guys, i had the cv joints and all that checked and wasnt them, and another mechanic told me it could be engine mounts but i thought it would only knock when the engine is being thrown. its a repetitive clunk mate, and i cant tell which side its coming from, hopefully not both.

yeah my 172 had a repitive clunk when drove hard lol.. but about the town only clunked when cahnceing gear lol.
