Started to strip alll the back out to give it a massive clean out and maybe spray the inside up for leaving it gutted! then came across this nasty river nile under the back seat :O. we have had a bit of a rain storm but nothing to talk about.

now am going to trace the water back to where its coming from and try and sort it out. befor i start any one know where the common leek points are .

(this pic is the drivers side back seat well)

Is there an water in your space saver wheel well?

If so its most probably the seal beahind the rear lights mate, thats a common problem.

If so just unbolt the light stick a little bit of sealer in the rubber which the light sits in, and job done :)

Put some seal around that grommet while your at it. Just don't touch it or attempt to lift it in anyway obviously. Not where your leak's coming from, but might prevent it 20 years from now when the rubbers perished.

the fuel tank is below that so even if there was no grommet it would be very unlikely water would get in there ;)
