Levin GT Apex AE101 20v silvertop auto - BOUGHT TODAY

Today I bought a 1992 Corolla Levin APEX GT AE101 - one lovely old lady has owned it since import in 1997 - was apparently serviced every year at MOT time, only thing she remembers having had fitted is a complete exhaust about 5 years ago.... anyway its done 127k KM, starts and drives OK and is not shy about being revved up to 8000 rpm.

I don't know anything about these cars (although just sold a ST205 GT4 monster) obviously its nothing like the GT4 in performance terms..... but is EXCELLENT on fuel....£10 did 55 miles (£1.35/L) I know for sure the GT4 would have used more.... a lot more.

So is this the right UK forum for a corolla Levin?

I need info on servicing, parts, general related info about this car.

Pictures........well its a basic standard Levin GT Apex AE101 with silvertop 20V which I bought from a 65 years old lady who has had it since import in 1997....

"basic standard" means............ it doesn't even have alloy wheels, only 3 plastic trims..... which are now in the boot. will upload pics tonight.

@ sanchez .......I am just off Iffley rd in Oxford, where are you?

It has a high idle speed, will be servicing it with fresh oil/filters plugs etc as soon as I can locate the parts. If that does not sort it out then I guess I will look further into it.

Current steel 14" wheels have 185X70 tyres on there, 4 stud fitment..... would like to source some retro alloys to fit.
