Limmit of CT9

What is the limmit of the CT9 turbo? I mean how much boost it can handle.

I run with a almost stock EP82 engine (poted and polish head), a huge front mounted intercooler, open airfilter and 2½" cat-back exhaust, and a fuelcut defender. I grinded the wastegateport a bit and ported the exhaustmanifold.

I fitted a HKS actuator, but I am unsure how high I can set the boost. My friends EP82 fried the turbo quite fast, it was set to 1,15bar (16,7psi), but the previus Japaneese owner, has blocked the blow off valve with a coin. I don't know why

Another thing, where in the hell do I find videos of fast Glanza's and GT's??? The few on youtube is quite borring.

Have you a aftermarket ecu? Also the previous owner blocked the whole with a coin so the turbo would make a fluttering noise.

1.15bar is too much especially on stock 4efte, supporting mods needs to be done. i would say 1 bar will be safe for the tubby and its reliability

be careful with the fcd as it makes the engine lean without uprating the fuel pressure... will cause engine damage, if your looking to run more boost there is a good thead on how to do it in the awesomely helpful info section with the title 'well balanced 200bhp'.

a bar is all the ct9 will be effiecient to and is also the very top safe boost level for a standard 4efte engine as said above without work being done to the engine itself.
