Hi i have had this problem 3 times now. I was driving down the road normally an then dropped a gear and lost power i tapped the peddle and it poped 3 times and then all power was back. i had the same problem on the motor way dropped it down to third and it popped 3 times an lost power and was very loud

Boost leak,faulty injector,poor spark,just a few ideas if it helps.

check leads, spark plugs, rotor arm, dizzi cap.

Sounds like the coil is about to go mine was the same then cut completly out then wouldnt start again.
