lost wire/coonector

below the water pipe on the side of the block i have a spade connection but there is nothing connected to it??? surely there should be??

it's just a single spade connector.

what is it & where should the wire be coming from that goes on to it?

that's just it,there is no wire! just a spade connection that is threaded in to the block! defo looks factory.

there should be a wire connected to the spade but i dont know where it is??:haha: little fucker has packed his case & gone on holiday!

It might have been a earth for somink somone had in the car, insted of taking it out jus ripped the wire out...

is the spade connection nearest the top rad hose?
if so its for aircon can be left disconnected if you have aircon removed that is

could it be for temp gauge or possiblly for the fan?

i had too clean mine spade connectors too get the temp gauge too work properly.

Im sure your talking about the temp gauge one, it has a short piece of wire that goes on there and clicks into another longer piece of wire..

yeah,i think it may be the air con one then,as my temp gauge works fine + my air con has been removed which would explain the lonely spade.
