loud pop!!

Driving along and there was a loud pop... shit myself as lost all boost, like the turbo never existed. Opened the bonnet and no split vac hoses or nothing...shiting myself even more now, dont let it be the turbo...im skint.
Ha, relief.....pipe blew itself off the intercooler.

Yes got boost back.
but now I have a whining when it spools (hope turbo is not fucked..)up and does'nt hold full boost.
any ideas?

the noise is probably a boost leak
check silicone joiners and hose clips are all tight

Cheers mate I'll check again, could'nt find anything the first time but double checking is always good.

hey mate same thing happened me b4! after taking off the intercooler pipe to change my actuator when i replaced it, all fine for a day and then like yours it popped off and took 3 different attemps to stop the leak! i used an extra clip to makesure it was tight!!
