Thanks Sheldon

i probably wont have the sensor then since i purchased the motor from an imporrter and installed it into my EP10 South African Corrolla..

i will probably have to locate the vaccuum where this comes from in the plenum then... will it be coming out from the left side aswell?

and can you confirm that the sensor in my pic is the Air Temp Sensor then?

thanks guys

yes it is the air intake temp sensor
there should be one small metal pipe coming out of the plenum/inlet manifold on the left hand side when u look at it from the top/ down the back the map sensor is ment to be connected to there ;)

from my testing, the glanza map sensor can read up to 1.2 bar boost.
I beleive GT should be the same or close to that.
over than that you'll need a 3 bar map sensor as it was said.
it is recomended to go for a 3bar map sensor as soon you want to go over 1 bar boost thought.

a 2 bar map sensor will read well over 1 bar of boost if you are at altitude, atmospheric pressure is lower the higher you go so if atmospheric pressure is only 0.75 bar (10,000 ft above sea level) then the sensor is able to read at least 1.25 bar of boost in an engine.
