story lads??

95gt

in da last week she has started being very "spluttery" now b4 anyone says plugs or leads i dont think it is cos she wud miss when revved sitting idle

the problem occurs when im driving, fuel doesnt seem to flow freely, kinda a "pull and push" motion when it happens and splutter from the exhaust

now after the engine is at quite a high temp the problem seems to phase out

any ideas?? has this happened to anyone here???

fuel filter??
dirty fuel line??
ive eliminated the possibility of dirty fuel

Is it at certain revs?

From your first post i couldn't maake it out, does it splutter on idle?

no not at certain revs
just if ya start to accelerate she'll stutter then go grand, the you'll feel a lump or two
depends how bad it is, sometimes its only once or twice but then like last nite the car was barely driveable, the engine was FREEZING but i let it warm up

sometime when ur idle, it will splutter a lil bit but its mostly okay on idle but not when you rev it

Wen that happened to mine it was the leads, happened once again when i reset the ecu and didn't let it idle for a min, oopps

When it was both as soon as it hit full boost it just starting sluttering like mad and jerking, check to see if theres moisture in the dizzy cap, main lead into firewall and other leads
spray them with WD40,that'll get rid of all the moisture
try resetting the ecu, let it run for 1-2 mins and see then

dunno how to reset my ecu

mite be a wet dizzy cap, but if it was the leads it wud stay spluttery where as its fine once the engine is really good and warm

one of the lads from work said it mite be the temp sender

take off the battery leads or just pull out the efi fuse to reset it

hmm , suppose, but different cars react differently. worth a try though

can't see that having a problem, maybe im wrong though
