major td04 problem

Ok guys, Bought a td04 with the cast-in curved intake compressor housing which had a hairline crack in it (didnt know when i got it) So i then bought a td04l took the compressor housing off to swap over and discovered that the compressor wheel is bigger than the original one. if i use the original smaller one it looks too small when you look down the intake, If i use the larger one its to big to sit in the recess of the unit although it dosn't touch because it has a slight shoulder on it, hope this makes sense, Thanks

can u not use the full turbo that ya bought instead of mix matching

Just weld your old housing!
Or get a new similar housing
Their housings are not interchangeable

Is the TD04L compressor wheel bigger than the cracked turbo compressor wheel?
