Management light!

Have just fitted a new thermostat in my car as it did not have 1 in when i brought it, now whenever i drive the car from cold after a while the engine management light comes on, but if i turn engine of and on again once the engines warm it wont come on again, any1 got any ideas?

I've got a question about the engine management light.
I have got a near standard glanza and just now when i was driving the engine management light came on for a sec and then went off.
Its never done it before and i've had the car a year.
What does this mean???
