I got the TurboXS manual boost controller

It stays @ the desired PSI and no boost creep with it hooked up :)

brilliant guys, thanks :)

I think that'll be the one to pick then...

Next question :p When fitting, if you had a boost pipe coming into the car for a boost guage, could you just splice into that for the mbc to be fitted? So you can adjust the boost in the car?

Dave sorry to semi hi-jack your thread but can I ask why your going for a manual over a electronic boost controller??

I need to get one and just trying to find out all the info I can to help me decide what one to get

Many thanks

from my understanding, some electronic ones are hard to setup and a lot more expensive when the do the same thing in the end :)

Simple answer is No.

You have to connect it the way the manual says, or it wont work.
It will have to be spliced into the vacume line, between the actuator and the turbo at somepoint, so it will controll the preasure the actuator see's.

I personally run a Turbosmart Boost T, and ive never had any problems.
I dont see why i would want to put something electric to control something thats mechanical :homer: Thats my personal opinion on that.

Dave sorry for hi-jacking your thread.

Can anyone fit a simple boost controller or is it best left to someone who knows what they're doing?
