MeisterR Zeta-R Coilovers for Toyota GT Turbo / Glanza (EP82 / EP91)

EP91.jpg

The NEW Zeta-R are build bespoke for the EP82 / EP91 chassis.
The spring rates and damper rate are design so you are able to get a compliant ride through uneven country road surface without being excessively harsh for daily use.

The specification also have been modified so you will be able to have complete control over your ride height.
Many coilovers cannot lower the EP82 / EP91 far enough in the rear because they were specified for the American Tercel.
MeisterR have gone back to the drawing board and design a new rear damper to ensure that you can lower the car enough, yet have enough adjustment to raise the car to acceptable ride height.

A quick overview of the Zeta-R Coilovers: high quality adjustable monotube dampers, linear rate springs, and a modern dual perch coilovers design. Zeta-R have revised damping specifically made for the UK roads, longer damper stroke travel for the bumps and dips, and 32 stage damping adjustment for fine tuning your desired ride.

Spring Rate:
Front: 5.0 kg/mm (280lb/in)
Rear: 4.0 kg/mm (225lb/in)

Aluminium Top Mount with PillowBall Bearing and Camber Adjustments.
Anodised Red Aluminium Top Mount with Integrated PillowBall Bearing and Camber Adjustments replace your worn out steel top mount.
The Camber Adjustments allows precise setting of your front camber geometry (No need for Camber Bolts) and will reduce tyre wear from excessive negative cambers from lowering.

MonoTube Dampers with Black Chromium Plated Body, Cold Coiling SAE9254 Chrome Silicon Steel Springs
MonoTube Dampers ensure high performance damping and ability to dissipate heat under hard usage.
The Black Chromium Plating have endure salt spray test and is by far the best anti-corrosion plating available.
There are 32 stage damping adjustment (Compression and Rebound Combined). Lengthen Rubber Boot ensure the damper piston will be protected from harsh environment.
The Cold Coiled Linear Rate Springs use high grade SAE9254 Steel to ensure strength and provide linear and predictable weight transfer characteristic.

Anodised Aluminium Spring Perch and Locking Collar
Lightweight Aluminium Collars are use to lock your springs and brackets in place.
The "Polyamide" springs isolator are use to reduce noise and spring binding issue associated with rubber isolator.

Steel Lower Bracket.
Steel Lower Brackets ensure strength are maintain during hard usages.
We choose steel over aluminum because in case of a catastrophic failure (such as in a collision), steel will bend where aluminum will shatter.
The double wall welded design also makes the unit much stronger by reinforcing the edge of the bracket wall.

The New Stocks are due in a weeks time or so, but due to disruption of the current weather and the closure of the UK port, there will be a delay.

I decided to do this as a special offer instead of a group buy for the moment because this will allow members to receive their coilovers the next days once they are in stock instead of waiting for the group buy to complete.

If anyone have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Thank You.

How do these compare in comparison to other brands, like D2 and BC? I'm very tempted to part with my money

Also the website says the spring rate is : Front 6.0Kg/mm and not 5.0 as specified above?

The deal will be on for a bit, but if you are interested, just PM me and let me know; I'll make sure you won't miss out.

The website is incorrect at the moment, I still need to update them but I am snowed out of my office at the moment. :haha:
I'll get that sorted asap but the info above (F: 5.0 / R: 4.0) is the correct info. :)

As for how they compare to the likes of BC and D2, the MeisterR Zeta-R are bespoke build for the EP82 / EP91 Chassis with the specification designed for UK fast roads use.
What this mean is that the Zeta-R will allows precise control over the ride height adjustment of the EP82 / EP91 chassis, a compliant ride over uneven UK country road, a comfortable daily ride, and enough adjustment for occasional track days.

Alot of work have been put into the design of the coilovers bespoke for the EP chassis for use in the UK, and it is not off the shelf like many other brands.

like anti roll bars f/r

other chassis braces/ anti lift kits

I will maintain being a "chassis" specialists.

Softer and Harder springs are already available from me if needed, but I would only suggest changing that if you are doing a purpose build car such as Drag or Track car.

I am looking into chassis brace, and hopefully I will be able to offer something interesting in the future. :)

would you do 4 front 3 rear spring rates on these coilovers for this price?

The Front 4.0kg/mm, Rear 3.0kg needs to be tested first because it is "too" soft in most cases.

It will also completely change the coilovers design because you have to use a longer springs with such light weight in order to maintain durability.
What that means is that you won't be able to lower the car as much as the original design because you will "run out" of space.

We have done alot of testing with the Zeta-R spring rate with the EP chassis and the front 5 / Rear 4 would not be harsh at all for daily driving.

x 10gazillion :)

Phil

And Phil, I think you have nominated yourself to be the guinea pig right?

I already got an extra set of 3kg/mm springs for you to test, so you can let us know the result when you have play with them. :)

I still think the 5/4 would be fine, but if you think an "Irish Spec" 4/3 would be better, we can see after you have a feel for both setup. :)
