can you fit a de-cat onto a standard exhaust system? will it make much of a differance if you can?

Hi kyle, yeah you can fit a Decat to your standard system. I noticed a bit of an improvement, but the rest of the restriction is in the rest of the system.

Fit it to an after market system and you'll notice the improvement.

yeah i'm gunna get a full system when i can get some money.......
but i got a de-cat and wanted to see if i could fit it just to see if there is any differance, performance or noise?

You will feel an improvement for sure, but not how much of an improvement. Minimal I guess. It may make a difference in noise too I guess.

never noticed a diiference in noise when i fitted mine but a slightly quicker spool up time of the turbo makes them worth while

there is a little perfromance gain as it is bypassing the cat filters. but gains would be noticed better with a full system

yeah i could but its just sat in my garage looking at me.lol
and i aint to sure when i will have money for a full system yet because i got a holiday coming up.
