On the vid the guy used a drill to get it to crank, will have a look at those sites now. Those engines are the scale ones yet, that do work, but they do not 'run', you crank them yourself, not self supporting like on the first vid. back to google! :p

Really after 1 now heh :)

nah, the ones i posted dont actually run. You just turn them over with the crank and it has see-through bits so you can see the internals working.

My dad had a kit similar to the ones I posted but it was electric powered....cant remember where it was from though.

argos + wilkinson both do the engine kits they look well good might have to treat myself sometime :D

ah argos dont seem to be doing them this year but they where £20 last year i can post pics if you like :D

and defo seen them in wilko's a few weeks ago but they wernt the eleccy ones like argos were doing

have to make sure the timing is ok and the plugs light up so you can see the firing sequence cool stuff.

its electric :p not quite as entertaining as fuel models but cheaper and practically the same.

altho the ones that run of butane gas are fun there more expensive and harder to find :p

Plastic engines is for newbs! Real engines ftw!

nah, will keep searching for the fuel / butane ones, am on a mission now to find one or a shop that sells them as a kit!

It would be good to get one in componant form that you can build from scratch, I'd have a crack at doing that, then build a frame to go around it and make a fucking huge truck. :D
