missfire / fuelcut

So... i am still havin an issue with my car either missfiring or hitting fuel cut when on full throttle and full boost.

It all started when i relocated my air filter to behind my grill, if i swap it back to standard the problem dissapears but then i have less boost/power. Its fine in 1st and 2nd sometimes in third and most of the time in 4th and 5th. I cant decide whether its fuel cut or a missfire but it should not be fuel cut as i have a blitz access ecu and a jam fcd which is set to off but still wired thru.

I have tried changing the spark plugs, resseting ecu and running thru injector cleaner and this did not help.
I then changed my fuel filter and put in a half bottle of octane booster, took the car for a run and it was almost perfect, only a slight "glitch" in 5th when at full boost and full throttle.

Then.. my car was off the road for a couple of weeks and i let the battery die which then obviously reset the ecu, took my car out and the problem is back.... I can control the problem by just lettin my foot up a fraction to keep it off full load but to be honest its a pain in the ass.

Anyone who can help or that has had similar issues?

I'm pretty certain your not supposed to use the FCD and blitz access ecu together, take the FCD and should be fine :)

Alistair is my real name, who r u?
i know that u can run a fcd with a blitz acces when it is set to off as it should not make a difference.

Letting the ecu map itself is wat i have been trying to do, tried a couple of methods and it doesnt really make much differnce. when i relocated my air filter i also had my rocker cover off for painting n generally cleaned up the engine bay, i wondered if i hav knocked a wire or sumthing, but if i put back on my standard efi pipe the problem is gone.
i am running a bar but it creeps to 1.1 and this is when the problem happens...

Have u checked the spark plug gaps? I had the same problem for years, couldnt find what was causing it, regapped my plugs to 0.7mm I and the problem was gone, felt like kicking myself!

Problem is solved thanks to mark at CMB's. Not sure what was actually causing the problem, possibly the FCD part of the ecu not working correctly but turning my FCD back on got rid of the problem.
