Missing Thermostat !!

heya guys ,

just found out something i find funny and catastrophic at the same time !
the previous engine builder , left me running with no thermostat for almost 2 years now !! the weird part is the car never really overheated , only sounds of some bubbles randomly after thrashing , this new builder told me i found the housing empty ! good thing i bought one anyways !
how come it didnt affect cooling that much ?

It would have made the car take longer to warm up, and if you lived in a climate like england, it could potentially cause a bit of damage by never allowing the engine to get up to temp, but assuming its hot most of the time out where you are it should do no damage at all

well its around 35++ most of the time indeed , had some weird idle fluctuation on warming up at times !
im very upset about the quality of work and dishonesty though :/

yes it should be ok we use to take the Thermostat out when drag racing the bothers mustang in the usa in the summer
