More oil cooler questions... HELP!

First off... I have one of these thermostats....

My oil cooler kit uses braided hoses.... will a strong hose clip be strong enough to use on braided hose over this thermostat? (pressure wise)

And also how do I go about getting rid of the air lock when its all connected up?

@ glanza97: i'd suggest go for a hose clamp, not a clip when dealing with oil connections/connectors. these give better performance when pressures build up.

when it's time to prime, you can remove your king lead and crank it a few times to get the air out. give it occasional breaks when cranking not to kill your starter motor.
