car has failed yellow sidelights, they want me to take them apart and take the yellow lenses after they discovered it wasnt the bulbs. Is this normal cause my gt been in the country for 8 years? I wouldnt mind but seems the headlights are brittle and trying to prise the lenses off the front seem like its gonna get messy these havent been to bits before no way.

Oh year and sun visor flapping down also bit gay tbh.

If I remember correctly, the yellow headlamp bulb covers unbolt but the yellow sidelight covers are bonded and have to be snapped out. You don't need to remove the lens from the front of the headlamp though, just pop the bulbs out to access the yellow covers.

Although I did remove mine before fitting the headlamps, so it made the job a lot easier.

I'm not so sure if yellow side lights are a failure:

A front position lamp shows a light other than white to the front, (or yellow if incorporated in a yellow headlamp)

It may be because the headlamp lens is clear and not yellow?
