mr2 celica turbos

hi every1

basically my turbo is on its way out and my friend told me that an mr2 turbo or a celica turbo.
i just want to no if it will fit with out buying anything else or if i have to buy something to get them to fit.

nope don't think it will bolt straight on mate, the flanges are different between the turbo's iirc...

They are not that good of an upgrade either so i've heard i'd rather fork out for the TD04 kit Alan_D has for sale if i was you

Yeh not an upgrade for turbo signicantly more laggy and only slight topend improvement, apparently.

The CT20 found on the rev 3 3sgte or st205 celica works very well on the 2.0litre enabling great results for a stock turbo. Mine was hitting around the 300BHP mark @ 1bar. not bad...

And mike got an outstanding result of around 350BHP @ 1.2bar.

Not very realiable though might i add. Not at over 1bar anyway, or not with me anyway LOL

God knows how lol! I always looked after the turbo. Always warmed up and cooled down when necessary.

Iv have a CT20/CT9 Hyrbid. It is quite laggy but it just keeps pulling and pulling. 228bhp at the fly @ 1.1bar of boost
