Im not getting that article... it says the top boys name is Muhammad, then it lists the top ten names and Muhammad is not in there?
Another article from the telegraph saying the same thing
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/d...religious-not-because-there-are-more-muslims/, would like to a verified source for this. If it is true I cant say I am surprised. I dont have a problem with what it represents but I do have a problem with the teachings of Islam, please remember Islam is a religion and not a race so you cannot be classed a racist for not agreeing with the teachings of a religion.
With very few if any followers of the religion standing up and speaking out against the dirty deeds being actioned in the name of Islam I can only draw the conclusion that they either support these deeds or are not so negatively opposed to them they feel the need to come out and condemn them. The extreme views thought in UK mosques is on public record, it has been recorded for all to see.
Whilst typically a name is just a name, in this instance it is more than that and shows us that the UK is heading toward becoming a predominantly muslim country. When the majority become of a certain mindset then they vote in candidates of similar beliefs and suddenly women are being stoned to death and people who steal a loaf of bread to feed their family are having limbs hacked off.
If Islam becomes the dominant faith in the UK it will be yet another place I will add to the countries I will not visit list. All predominantly muslim countries are all ready on that list. I would be a hypocrite if I visited any of them. I say to people from the middle East - if you dont like our western values dont come to our countries. By the same token I dont like their values so I dont go to their countries. My parents and brother both have places in Turkey that I have never visited. Whilst I know Turkey is a secular country, it is still predominantly muslim and for that reason I wont go there.
