I recognise the Impreza, im sure it was you i was talking to the last time i was up a Japerformance with the Starlet.
Was it not under performing that day?
Was with the CRX and the 309.....

Could be someone totally diffirent, but im positive that was the Impreza.

Yeah it did underperform that day. that run was just a fueling check after i changed the exaust mani. A vacuum pipe for with a non return valve was fitted the wrong way. It was fine after I corrected it :)

yeah , i'm unsure about that figure also...
i think it's time to get their dyno calibrated..

wouldn't get near 150 with the stock exhaust manifold,no way in hell...
unless it's a hiflow or something , but a stock CT9b at higher boost with around 10.0 AF's wouldn't.
must be a highflow if the dyno is reading correctly...

that figure was at the flywheel Brad ;) I think the dyno is quite accurate. There is another dyno locally in the area (DasteK type) and it gives 10 bhp more than the Dyno Dynamics rollers.

I suppose it just shows you how restrictive the Starlets breathing system is.

my apologies...
i still don't understand why you take figures from the flywheel , when the dyno is on the tyres anyway... :)
in Aust. all our dyno printouts are done at the tyres...

the exhaust manifold is the biggest problem..

in comparison ,
my car with a front mount , intake and exhaust on 13psi , made 115hp at the tyres , then by only installing one of the log manifolds we made , it jumped to 138hp at the tyres and gained nearly 1psi in boost..
then with the SAFC tune , it jumped again to 150.2 at the wheels..

3 starlets we've done here in similar setups now , and the other 2 had outputs of 150.8 and 152 at the wheels...

all done on the same dyno aswell...

Latest graphs....hopefully still more bhp to come. Need to get rid of the stock exhaust manifold!!
