My Poor Starlet!!!!!

SO SO SOOOOO gutted!!!!! Heres the story...

Last night.. Was pulling out from where i was parked on the street and looked (as you do) seen a car coming but was AGES away, plenty time to go so i started to go (needing to cross over onto the left lane to go home).. Outta nowhere this car driving on the wrong side of the road (side i was on) was over taking the car i originally spotted doing about 60/70mph.. I paniced, there was nothing i could do so i just stopped and put my arms over my head waiting for it to hit me.. Next thing i know my mum is screaming in the passenger seat and then a huge whack to the car which made my car like shoot forward and land in the middle of the street.

The fucker then drove away!!!!!!!

I couldn't speak, i just got out my car and looked at it then started screaming and burst into tears! Luckily there are heaps of witnesses and 3 of them got the same reg of a car.. Turns out the car is a Calibra so fingers crossed the police will step up and do something about it!!

I am SO gutted!! :( :( :( :(

My mate phoned me last night and told me he seen a Calibra matching its description that was smashed at the front.. If it is him, why the fuck would he go out and drive about after what happened!!

I took pics but tbh it looks a lot worse in real life than the pics but with saying that i think i got off VERY lucky, the speed the car was going i thought my car would be a right off but only got that damage.. Still gutted no matter what the damage though :(

Also heard witnesses and my mum speaking saying they all thought at the speed he hit me, they thought i would be very badly hurt or even dead!! Which i don't understand because there completly right so dunno why i only have the damage i have..

Soory to hear about that... but it can be fixed. not major damage done lucky enough

as for the calibra - speeding on the wrong side of the road and driving off and hitting you sounds like a joyrider and it was probably stolen I would think

Yeah that is easily fixable but sorry to hear that complete pain for you, just more hassle and more cost let us know how you get on chin up.

Calibra's tend to be enthusiast owned now, expensive to get insured on too but very nice cars

Not many decent ones left so as mully said unfortunatley it was probably stolen.

Hope the police find them

Yeah as soon as it happened i thought it would have bin stolen or/and the guy might have bin drunk and thats why he never stopped! May not be much damage to some folk but i'm so gutted, can't believe it happened! I'm having no luck with this car :(

Wasn't badly hurt, although today my bodys all sore and neck is in agony :(

Yeah i feel for you, had someone drive right into the back of one of my old cars.. back and neck was in real pain for ages :(

sorry to hear about that, but it could have been allot worse :) as gutting as it can be at the time at least you and your mum are ok :)

e-bay a new door and get it to the bodyshop and youll be pimpin again in no time :cool:

Thats quite a nasty looking impact. My old red starlet got wrote off with a side impact, hit flush on the drivers door with the other car going around 40mph, very lucky not to be injured.

I'm glad that the damag is not as bad as a write off but its a hassle to fix.

I hope they find the twat in the calibra.

Main thing is your ok.

Yeah i thought it would have bin WAY worse, i got off lucky :)

Well not badly hurt, i'v bin sitting in the whole day in utter pain but i didn't feel any pain apart from a little bit round my neck last night :confused:

aww... sorry to hear that but glad you are ok. coz the most important thing is u r ok and he'll deserve wat he did at the end of the day.

Similar thing happen to me tat someone scratch my car when I parked at the car park (dunno who did it but the only thing i know is red car coz red paint on my car), absolutly gutted but nothing much i could do about it apart to get it respray due to the paint totally off and see the bare metal :( just call it a bad day :(

Aw gutted! :( well i didn't think i was hurt when it happened (apart from neck jerking) but my whole body is in utter pain today and so is my neck :(

Gutted for you and your car but im glad you could walk away from it in one piece must have someone looking over your shoulder!
