Bit of an update....

Took the head apart, Removed Springs, Valves and Oil Seals.

Cleaned the head, got most of the dirt out of the ports, cleaned up the valves and got the head skimmed. Also replaced the valve stem oil seals and lapped the valves.

Got loadsa help from Stuart(s.murphy on here), couldnt of done it without him!!

Anyway let me know what ya's think, slowly getting there now!

didnt bother getting the cams in the end, they were 5efhe ones!

still for sale as far as i know but im gonna stick with the 4e ones for now and see how she goes.

Does anyone know how much knotching is needed in order for clearance for scat rods??

Will I need to bring he rods with me to the machining shop or just the block?

Hows things John?

No I never got it ported, just cleaned the ports and the rest of the head.

Very expensive to get the port and polishing done, its about £500.

Just need to get the block re-bored, honed, notched and maybe a light skim.

Buy the internals and fire it up then!

Im getting there at last...
