My Tercel/EP82 Swap

This project was started back in May 08. Me and my buddy did the swap in my driveway. Here is the first picture of the stock Tercel motor 3EE getting pulled.

Here is the famous engine bay picture that everyone does. Notice the Tercel to my left. It has a E36 headlight conversion along with EP82 Front bumper w/Fog lights. It also has a 4E swap and is currently around 200 whp.

Here is the car with the new/used 4E in. I also purchased a rear poly Mount to avoid the motor from twisting.

I also installed little things. This a Paseo/ Cynos which is known to you guys gauge cluster w/ 88 Celica GTS Speedometer that reads to 150mph.

And this is how the car sits currently. It has Corsa Headlights w/ JDM Clear corners and JDM rear tailights W/Center Garnish..

I' am in the process of starting to upgrade my motor. I cuurently have an HKS Actuator and Chipped ECU.

E36 light conversion is great on tercels.. do you know by chance how he mounted the ep82 bumper? any extra pics? your car is pretty nice too, I bet it's pretty quick too..

I'll have to get with him and see if he has anymore pictures for the bumper. I know that the headlights took a lot of fabrication. Yeah at our drag strip I put down a 15.2 quarter mile at 86 mph. Also on the dyno i put down 122.7 whp.

very nice, Im on my second boosted tercel right now, 1st was a 96 with a 4e, FMIC, Meshed turbo, fhe cams and 5efe pistons. It was pretty fun. now im working on a 5efte 92 tercel with a 16g and nitrous. havent gotten the motor together yet so i dont have any results, but I'm sure ti will be fun. good luck with your car and Im sure you'll have fun with it.

Hi guys, im from Canada (province of quebec) and im sharing the same interest concerning tercels.

Just wanted to share my current project parts list with you so we can develop research & development together.
Mine is a 94 4-door tercel with 140000 miles on the body, 65000miles on the engine. I done 8000miles with my current setup.

4e-fte with a custom exhaust manifold (16 gauge thick mild steel manifold)
with the gt2560R from Garrett at 12psi, Fmic 24x10x2.5, 2.0inch aluminium piping on the charge side, 2.5 on the feed side. AEM wideband, Apexi Neo, 2004 wrx fuel pump, 2.5 straight exhaust no cat silenced muffler, divorced wastegate 2.5 inch stainless downpipe, 5e-fhe acis intake manifold, a lot of othe of go-fast parts but it is the main setup...

i also bought a 5e-fhe with a non-lsd tranny for 275$ (obviously from someone who doesnt know its REAL value...). I plan to upgrade to a 5e-fhte during the summer...

Looking good mate but you've put heat reflective tape on the manifold?! :eek: That will last about 5 minutes mate, and just burn off!

The car should be getting tuned here in a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to post the dyno numbers. Here are the old numbers on the stock setup @ 9psi at altitude so 5280 ft.... which is a mile above sea level in the states I dont know what that is in Europe.
