Hi everyone on my turbo on my 1997 glanza it only says toyota on it so I was just wondering what turbo it was. The diameter on the intake is 55mm as I relocated my airfilter today and measured it. I thought my turbo would have ct9 on it somewhere. Lol.

I'm not sure mate. I've only had my glanza for 2 months and it's the first time I've looked at the turbo up close. It's defently got a 55mm diameter though.

Yeah that sounds the best way of doing it. I will grab a picture of it tomoz and will see what people think. There is nothing wrong with my turbo but just want to know what type it is. Lol

well if its got a 55mm intake then it deff aint a standard ct9 compressor housing. so must be some form of hybird.

Whatis the difference between the 2 turbos mate? Thank you for your help

There's loads of info on here but simply the Glanza CT9B marked only Toyota has an extra blade on the turbine wheel helping it to spool up quicker however the CT9A turbo on the GT's with one less blade "should" produce more top end power due to the extra blade in the CT9B acting as a restriction.
