Was driving through a small town near my home when some guy flashed me, hand out the window waving for me to stop, had my window down in the first place and wasn't driving fast for the speed bumps, slowed down slightly and then a car came up behind me so I couldnt stop anyway. this guy, going the opposite way, shouts "stop up there mate", so I carried on going, and after reminding myself of half the stuff I've seen on this site I was like nah, and just put my foot down and got out of there, seen the guy turn his car and try to follow me but lost him pretty quickly.. Kinda shit myself a bit though afterwards as I was on my own and the car seemed full of young lads and it was dark and quiet, it's also the village where my girlfriend stays so I'll be extra vigilante when my cars outside her house from now on, duno if it was maybe just someone wanting a look at the car genuinely but wasn't going to take any chances. Just got the car last month last thing I want is some tossers jumping me or any crap like that.

Poor guy was maybe getting chased by some mad axe murder and you`ve just drove on leaving him to suffer,. ah poor chap lol

Think u did the right think, though he may have just thought his new airfilter and exhaust giving the "10bhp each" that he had a chance on ya and wanted a go lol :)

Sounds weird, you did the right thing. I was parked at a garage last week, when a car full of lads came out of the car and just stood there and started at my car with me in it. Doesn't sound like much but it was a bit odd.

Yeh better be safe than sorry.

I was driving on my estate late one night on my own and big group of lads walking up street one went in middle of road with his hand up to get me stop, soon moved when the car picked up speed and bov'd at him. You cant take chances especially when your on your own.

done the right thing dude, about 3years ago similar thin happend to my mate in his 106gti, he was on his own when 3 cars tried to box him in all full of chavies because they "wanted a look" but they where all in shitters and he got away.

Good for you mate holding your ground and moving swiftly on!

I have heard car jackers are getting worse and this happening middle of the day. People will do anything now hence why i keep a baseball bat visible in the back of the car (and baseball mit and balls just incase police ask why lol!)

dont worry to much about it mate you did the right thing i had the smae sort of thing happened to me when i had my bmw i was just filling up and there was another old bmw with about 5 chavs inside and as mine was moded they they drove next to it and tryed to get me to stop. i was like yeah what ever so i just drove off they had no chance in keeping up so they just backed off dont worry to much buddy

When I worked in a petrol station on the motorway I had this huge black guy come in shitting himself at about 11pm, he had just bought a brand new AMG Merc and had been at some traffic lights (weirdly less than 1 mile from my parents house which was 35 miles away) and this car pulled up behind him and a guy jumped out and tried to get in his car while holding a bat. He had the anti hijack thing on his car so the doors were locked and as it was late at night he floored it through the red lights, and they chased him. They had chased him the 35 miles down the motorway when he came in to the services to call the cops, he was shaking and nearly crying, totally in shock at it all, it was mental.
