need help whit hand brake light.

hows it going all.
have a problum whit my hand brake light in the dash will not come on.
i tryed the presher switch on the hand brake and no joy.there is no voltage going to the presher switch.is there any fuse for diss of could it be a relay.
any help would be gr8.

short to ground some where? if you disconnect the plug going to the handbrake, does the light go out? or if you connect it to ground, does it come on? have you checked the bulb?

the bulb is fine and there is no power going to the swich at all i tested it whit a grounded tester.
