Right ive ordered the rod and rack end from toyota, arriveing friday morning, needed these ASAP... payed £112.04 altogether but really did need this done......... Cheers rick for that bit of info there :)

GARY let me know about that fender........ Post a pic of tonight if you can and i'll come collect one night this week... soon as really...

dont look to bad, where the pics of the damage?, make sure you mark up how many thread on the rod, so you can put it back on and should be fairly close to the right tracking, any damage done to the wheels?

lucky u i bought a gt with o/s damage thougth it wasnt that bad, so far iv had to buy a full set of coilovers, hub assembly, wing, door, slam panel, bumper support bracket, headlight, headlight panel, indicator, had to repair my toms bumper and toms grille and inner wingits costing me a small fortune but hopefully itll be worth it when its finished

well mate i also broke my headlight, indicator, scratched all my bumper, slightly bent my slam panel and hopefully didnt damage the hub but wont know until it gets fixed....

But just replacing the essentials for the moment to get it on road to be mapped.... The headlight is still in place just bit of plastic snapped which will fail M.O.T and no indicator as that shattered..... for the moment thats ok... new fender and Rack rod should get it back on road for the mapping session......

Gary, they look more then good enough mate..... I'll have em off you... I'll post up a few pics of the car in a bit....

The wheel is fine not bent or anything just curbed to shit really, but they are my "slick" wheels to be so not all bothered really.....

Im getting my mate to sort my rod ends while im at work... Hes been a mechanic for 15 years so knows exactly what hes doing with the rods an that.....

when do u want it off then, start back on nights 2moz until sunday night but can leave it out for you

hmmm, I might try pop up tonight to be honest IF thats ok, If i really cant make it tonight leaving it out would be best option but im really busy next few days so tonight sounds my best option to be honest... let me know gaz....

Oh yeah how much you want for it you donut!? lol

there called rack ends mate. so when you speak to toyota ask for "rack ends".

tie rod end is the little ball joint thing that goes on the end of it. you may aswell get a new one of these aswell

A bit off topic and sorry for spamming your thread, but could you please tell me how to get this rack end out of the rack??
