new battery

Im thinking of buying a new battery but went to halfroads and they couldnt get one.i had a look around but i need a heavy duty one which is more powerful cos i drained the battery with my head lights on and its never been the same since. Any idea where 2 get a battery or even a new battery from another car that fits and is more powerful than the original?

does yours still need the small terminals or can you fit a battery with lager terminals?

if its still a small terminal type there is a limit to the batteries you can get! you shouldnt have any problems with a decent new battery even if its the same amp hours as the original type.

whats the max power battery you can put on a GT using different terminals any ideas?

bit worried bout melting wiring loom using a too powerfull battery.

wouldnt worry about that mate. as long as its 12v then youll have no worries. the electrical system takes as much power as it needs. wont melt anything

any recommended batterys that will fit the standard plate. with higher amps
