thanks for all the comments lads. the guy i bought it off didnt have a clue about cars left me with a tall mountain to climb coz he never maintained it. i just had to order two wheel beaings and 2 cv jounts for it today the trackings off aswell he couldn't even do the bare essential maintinence on it. was working on it all evening found a few loose bolts already looks like anything he touched was a half arsed effort. i got a great deal on it though and he even gave me a spare engine with it in good condition had to really haggle it out of him lol.I have to get the car driving right before i even start on the engine.i cant stand a car with knocks, rattles and bangs.

The way you find out is by taking your own ones off and counting the spline simples.

there's only the two types so i have a 50% chance being right if not i.ll bring them back and change them, its only up the road.

welcome to tgtt dude, good to see this car finally fall into the right hands, best of luck with it.

thanks lad hope i can get it back into shape again

also will a standard ct9 fit the setup now? as the hybrid is surging and i dont want to do any more damage to the engine/turbo before i can get the engine sorted out the turbo is still ok at the moment if it keeps surging like it is though it probably wont hold out much longer. i need to keep the car running while i sort out the cv joints and bearings and then i'll be pulling the whole lot out to forge it and change the setup if it means putting a standard ct9 on to relieve the pressure on the engine caused by the boost problems it'll be worth it.

Welcome to the forum mate :) lovely looking car btw, got urself a real gem. I take it its a hybrid ct9 that your running the now? if so you should be able to put a normall ct9 back in... not 100% sure but as long as make sure she is fueling ok it should be fine :). maybe someone else could clear this up.

i'd put a standard ct9 on for now if you can, that hybrid ct20 is a shitheap, the exaust side is too small compared to the compressor side.

then maybe to sell that mani/downpipe and go for something better for the forged lump if you put one in..

thats what id do anyway

will the manifold work with a standard ct9 as it is now though really need to get that hybrid out before it does any damage and it'd be handy if i could bolt on a ct9 to the manifold thats there for the time being. i have a blitz access ecu so that should be alright for fueling a standard turbo.
